Gold Medal — Ontario Wine Awards 2026
Hand-harvested from select vineyards in the Niagara Peninsula, this 2024 Pinot Noir reflects both the character of the vintage and a hands-on approach in the cellar. The grapes were carefully crushed and destemmed before fermentation in small open-top fermenters, where regular hand punch-downs encouraged gentle extraction of colour, flavour, and fine tannins. The wine opens with inviting aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry, layered with subtle notes of dried herbs, forest floor, and warm spice. On the palate, bright red fruit flavours are complemented by hints of cranberry, savoury earthiness, and a touch of vanilla and cedar from barrel aging.
